Using 1% Academy
By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these terms. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian should read and agree to them with you.
Your account is for you only. Please keep your login details private and don't share your account with others.
Subscriptions and payments
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, in advance, through Stripe.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
- You can cancel anytime from your dashboard via the billing portal. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
- Partner discounts apply for as long as the subscription stays active, unless we tell you otherwise when you sign up.
- If we change our prices, we'll let existing subscribers know before the new price applies to them.
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. If something isn't working as it should, contact us and we'll help — including a refund where the law requires one.
Our resources
Practice exams, SACs, worksheets and other material on 1% Academy are written to help you revise for the Victorian curriculum. Some material is created with the help of AI and reviewed by us. We work hard to make it accurate, but it may contain mistakes — always check against your teacher's guidance and official VCAA materials.
1% Academy is an independent study resource. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the VCAA or any school, and using it doesn't guarantee a particular result or study score.
Our resources are for your own personal study. Please don't copy, resell or republish them.
Community uploads
If you share a resource in the community area, you confirm you have the right to share it, and you give us permission to display it to other members. Don't upload anything that isn't yours to share, anything offensive, or anyone's personal information. We may remove content that breaks these rules.
Accounts we may suspend
We may suspend or close accounts that misuse the platform — for example by sharing logins, scraping content, or uploading harmful material.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we're not responsible for indirect losses arising from your use of the platform, such as exam results. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the previous 12 months. This doesn't affect any guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change materially affects your subscription, we'll tell you first. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
